How is Nature Maid different?

Nature Maid is a green cleaning service, but, the term "green" has become somewhat trendy and at times, loosely used.

First let me give my definition:  green practices conserve energy, promote recycling, reduce the use of raw materials and minimize the use of toxic products requiring disposal.

So, in a nutshell, I try to first be mindful of the resources I am using and secondly be fastidious in my technique. I continue to research green cleaning technology and employ better processes accordingly.

Some of the things that make me a real "green" cleaner:

I use Green Seal certified products. You can read more  at their website but the philosophy behind their science-based testing and certification is to minimize waste, from the production process through to the end product, all while maximizing cleaning efficiency.

In order to achieve clean air, I utilize microfiber (i.e. fabric with infinitesimal dirt-grabbing fibers) to dust and clean your home from top to bottom while also using a HiFlow HEPA filtration vacuum - this means deep cleaning with exceptional filtration.

I use microfiber flat mops which employ much less water while accomplishing much better results than traditional mopping systems.

What is the cost?
I will come to your home to give you an estimate based on the size and condition of your home; as a general rule, the rate for first time cleaning starts at $105 and regularly scheduled cleanings (weekly or bi-weekly) start at $85. Just e-mail or call me to set up your free estimate appointment, it's a quick process.

Who will clean my home?
Nature Maid is owned and operated by UF graduate and bona fide neat freak, Ellen Louis. Assistants are under the direct supervision of the owner. The business is locally licensed, as well as adequately insured and bonded.
